Timberline.
Upstairs Twins · The star-light room
For the kids who want to sleep under stars without going outside.
Timberline is upstairs. Two twin beds. A northern-lights ceiling light throws slow ribbons of green and violet across the ceiling when the room is dark — not a science demonstration, just for the joy of it. The kids notice immediately. The adults notice second, then turn the lamp off.
Quilts. A small bookshelf with a rotating set of books we trust kids to read. A shared upstairs bathroom across the hall.
The name is for the line where the trees give up — where you can finally see the stars without the canopy in the way. Sheridan has those stars. The light is a small reminder that the sky is still doing something even when you're inside.
