The closing night of the Summer Salon Series. Always a guitar act. Always a bonfire in the yard after, because the nights are getting just cool enough to want one.
The third salon has a different feeling than the first two — a last-of-something weight to it. People linger longer. The bonfire burns down past eleven. Someone always brings a bottle of something and shares it.
