Lucy’s holidays have been quiet since her husband passed. She knows what it is to have an empty November Tuesday. She also knows from her own life that the best Thanksgivings she ever had were the ones she invited people to who didn’t have a family table to sit at. The Gratitude Thanksgiving was always going to happen. It was just waiting for the house.
Applications open October 1 and close the Sunday before. Write us a few sentences about why you’d like to be at the Table this year. We read every one. We choose twelve. It’s pay-what-you-can — if that’s zero, it’s zero.
Lucy cooks. The menu is unfussy and classical. Turkey, stuffing, pie. Nothing to prove. The point is the Table.
