SUMMER
- The WYO Rodeo, July. The week everyone in Sheridan clears their calendar.
- Polo in Big Horn, Sunday afternoons. Free to watch. Bring a chair.
- Red Grade Road to the top of the Big Horns. An afternoon drive, steep in places, unforgettable on a clear day.
- The Brinton Museum’s Summer Salon (we partner with them; date announced in the Letter).
FALL
- Elk bugling in the Big Horns, September. Early morning, worth the drive.
- Born in a Barn art walk, downtown, October.
- Apple picking up at the Ucross Foundation orchard, if it’s open.
WINTER
- The downtown Christmas parade.
- Cross-country skiing at Antelope Butte.
- Sitting in the Parlor at Gratitude on the first snowy morning, drinking cocoa. We do this annually.
SPRING
- Trout on the Tongue River once the runoff settles.
- Wildflowers up Soldier Creek, late May into June.
- The Sheridan WYO Theater spring concert series.
